Governance Framework
This Governance Framework defines how the Islamic Estate Planning System
is maintained, reviewed, and updated to ensure correctness, transparency,
and alignment with Islamic jurisprudence.
1. Governance Structure
- System Maintainers: Technical custodians responsible for implementation integrity
- Scholarly Advisors: Qualified scholars reviewing jurisprudential correctness
- Institutional Stakeholders: Masjid boards, waqf trustees, and educational bodies
2. Decision-Making Process
- All jurisprudential logic is derived from Qur’an, Sunnah, and Ijmāʿ
- Material logic changes require scholarly review
- Non-substantive UI or documentation changes may be approved administratively
3. Change Management
- All changes are versioned and recorded in the Version History.
- Test cases must be updated alongside calculation logic
- Backward compatibility is preserved whenever possible
4. Accountability & Transparency
Governance Principle:
This system prioritizes fidelity to Islamic law, transparency in calculation,
and responsibility toward the Muslim community it serves.
